MIDEAST-ISRAELI-PALESTINIAN-UNREST-GAZA-ROCKETS
Israelis are evacuated for the week-end to the northern coastal city of Netanya following attacks by Palestinian militants with home-made rockets on the southern Israeli town of Sderot, a few kms away from the Palestinian Gaza Strip, 17 May 2007. Israel vowed to hit Gaza militants firing rockets that have wounded four civilians this week, as two more projectiles exploded inside the Jewish state. Since deadly factional fighting erupted in Gaza 13 May between rival Hamas and Fatah factions, some 30 projectiles have crashed inside the Jewish state, wounding four civilians, two of them seriously.
