TO GO WITH AFP STORY IN FRENCH: "LE SABRE DE NAPOLEON A MARENGO EN VENTE AUX ENCHERES".
Picture taken 18 May 2007 in Fontainebleau, southern Paris shows the saber of then French Napoleon Bonaparte used during the Marengo Battle on 14 June 1800. The saber, which is part of the National Heritage of the Versailles Manufacture will go under the hammer with its steel-made brown sheath, 10 June 2007 at the Fontainebleau Osenat Auction House.
