FRANCE-CINEMA-CANNES-FILM-FESTIVAL-CHACUN SON CINEMA
(From L) Chinese director Wong Kar-Wai, Taiwanese director Hou Hsiao-Hsien, Belgian director Jean-Pierre Dardenne and Belgian director Luc Dardenne pose 20 May 2007 upon arriving at the Festival Palace in Cannes, southern France, for the screening of the collective film 'Chacun Son Cinema' (To Each His Own Cinema) at the 60th edition of the Cannes Film Festival. 35 directors, from 5 different continents and 25 countries, all universally recognised, have directed, in just 3 minutes each, their state of mind of the moment as inspired by the motion picture theatre. A lavish sprinkle of Hollywood stars and veteran film-makers, a dash of arthouse fare and new international discoveries -- the Cannes filmfest celebrates its 60th edition with a tried and true recipe for success.
