As reflected in a mirror, director and choreographer Joey McKnelly (R) shows a move to dancers as they audition for the part of a "Jet" gang member in a new production of "West Side Story" 11 May 2007 at a studio in New York. A new cast and touring company is being formed on the 50th anniversary of the groundbreaking Broadway musical that explores the clash between rival teenage gangs and ethnicities on the west side of Manhattan, based loosely on William Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet.
