A supporter of slain Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic and the Democratic Party holds the party flag and wears a T-shirt, bearing the name "Djindjic, in front of the special court building in Belgrade, 23 May 2007. The court sentenced 23 May 2007 the mastermind and sniper behind the 2003 assassination of pro-Western Serbian Prime Minister Zoran Djindjic to a maximum 40 years in jail. The former leader of the "Red Berets" commando unit, Milorad "Legija" Ulemek, 39, was given a 40-year sentence for organizing the assassination of Djindjic, who was shot dead outside his Belgrade office 12 March 2003. Another member of the unit, Zvezdan "The Snake" Jovanovic, 41, was given the same sentence for shooting dead Djindjic, Serbia's first prime minister after the regime of Slobodan Milosevic was toppled.
