GULF-US-SHIPS
A picture released by the US navy shows 23 May 2007 (from top to bottom) the USS John C. Stennis, the USS Bonhomme Richard and the USS Nimitz steaming through the Gulf of Oman. The three ships are flagships for three different strike groups; the John C. Stennis Carrier Strike Group, the Nimitz Carrier Strike Group and the Bonhomme Richard Expeditionary Strike Group, which are on regularly scheduled deployments in support of US Maritime Operations.
