FRANCE-CINEMA-CANNES-FILM-FESTIVAL-AUF DER ANDEREN SEITE
Turkish actress Nursel Kose (C) waves to photographers 23 May 2007 as she leaves with fellow counterpart Baki Davrak (L) and Polish actress Patrycia Ziolkowska the Festival Palace in Cannes, southern France, after the screening of German Turk director Fatih Akin's film 'Auf der Anderen Seite' (The Edge of Heaven) at the 60th edition of the Cannes Film Festival. The film is in competition for the Palme d'Or film prize. Twenty-two films are competing for the prestigious Palme d'Or prize with nearly 1,000 non-competition movies from various countries shown during the festival which is celebrating its 60th anniversary, making for a packed programme attended by nearly 5,000 journalists and 10,000 industry types.
