FILES - Picture taken 21 July 1996 in Paris shows the 1996 Tour de France winners podium with overall winner Danish Bjarne Riis (C, team Telekom), flanked by German Erik Zabel (R, team Telekom) wearing the Green Jersey of the best sprinter and France's Richard Virenque wearing the red and white Polka Dot Jersey of the best climber. Zabel, one of the top cyclists of the past decade, admitted during a press conference on 24 May 2007 in Bonn that he had taken the banned blood booster EPO while competing for German team Telekom in 1996.
