FRANCE-CINEMA-CANNES-FILM-FESTIVAL-PROMISE ME THIS
Sarajevo-born director Emir Kusturica (C) shows three fingers 26 May 2007 as he competes for the Palme d'Or or the third time upon arriving with Serbian actress Marija Petronijevic and producer Maja Kusturica at the Festival Palace in Cannes, southern France, for the premiere of his film 'Promise Me This' during the 60th edition of the Cannes Film Festival. The film is in competition for the Palme d'Or prize. The Cannes festival unspooled some of its last films Friday as it prepared for its weekend climax -- an awards night that will reward one of 22 competition films with the prestigious Palme d'Or.
