US-RAELIAN-WOMEN-S DAY PROTEST
Raelian believer Debbie Weaver of Los Angeles bare her breast as she marches with other Raelians as they march in Santa Monica, California, 06 March 2004 to draw attention to their movement and to commemorate Women-s Day which falls on 08 March. The bare-breasted march was to protest the myth of God who they claim is responsible for centuries of repression inflicted upon women. The women said they were baring their breasts to symbolicly reclaim their sensuality stolen by puritan, patricarchal, guilt-filled dogma. The women were required to cover their nipples by law for the public march. The Raelians are proponents of human cloning and believe mankind comes from extra-terrestrials. AFP PHOTO / Robyn BECK
