RACING-FRA-DERBY-WIN
Italian riding legend Frankie Dettori (2ndL) is congratulated by Enrico Ciampi (L), one the two owners of the horse Lawman, after winning the French Derby (Prix du Jockey Club) on Lawman, 03 June 2007 in Chantilly, northern Paris. The 36-year-old Italian - who was only riding the winner because regualr jockey Olivier Peslier had been claimed for the Wertheimer runner No Dream as he is contracted to them - led from start to finish of the 2100 metres race to see off Literato - owned by French Defence Minister Herve Morin - and Shamdinan to take the first prize of 857,000 euros.
