TRINIDAD-US-ATTACKS-AIRPORT-COURT-SUSPECT-KADIR
Former Guyanese member of parliment, Abdul Kadir (C, in pale suit), a terror suspect held over an alleged plot to attack New York's international airport, leaves court in Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, on June 4th, 2007. In a brief hearing, which lasted less then 10 minutes, suspects Kadir and Kareem Ibrahim, were charged with conspiring to commit terrorist acts against the laws of the United States an offense for which they could be extradited to face trial in the US. US officials said Sunday they had foiled a plot to bomb fuel tanks and pipelines at New York's John F. Kennedy airport.
