(FILES) An Aer Lingus jet comes in to land at Dublin airport, in Ireland, 18 September 2006. Irish airline Aer Lingus said Wednesday 06 June 2007 that it has ordered 12 new Airbus aircraft worth 2.4 billion dollars (1.78 billion euros) at list prices, adding that it had won "substantial" discounts. "Aer Lingus will take delivery of six new A330 300E and six new A350 XWB aircraft, valued at 2.4 billion dollars at catalogue prices, with deliveries commencing in 2009," the company said in a statement.
