TO GO WITH AFP STORY US-ANIMALS-HEALTH BY MIRA OBERMAN
Bunny, an 8-year-old German Shepard and one of Chicago's police bomb sniffing dog, goes through rehabilitation 13 April 2007 with his handler patrolman Gary Gozdecki (R) and physical therapist Tiffany Johnson (L) at the Integrative Pet Care facility in Chicago, Illinois. Integrative Pet Care is a specialty veterinary center dedicated exclusively in the use of traditional and complementary veterinary methods for rehabilitation, holistic healing, exercise and wellness of pets. According to the facilitys website they can improve pet’s recovery from injury or surgery, accelerate healing and prevent future injury and offer pain management and alternate options to treat chronic illnesses.
