KAZAKHSTAN-RUSSIA-GERMANY-SATELLITE
A Russian RS-20 (Satan) booster rocket, carrying the German TerraSar-X satellite blasts off from the Baikonur cosmodrome in Kazakhstan, 15 June 2007. TerraSAR-X is a new German radar satellite carries a high frequency X-band SAR sensor that can be operated in different modes (resolutions) and polarization to send high quality observational data of the Earth for scientific and commercial purposes from its 500 kms high orbit.
