BRAZIL-MISSING-CLANDESTINE GRAVES
Argentinian anthropologists Sofia Egana (2-L), Silvana Turner (L) and Anahi Ginarte (R) supervise the searching works in a former Military Base in Xambioa, Tocantins, north of Brazil, 09 March 2004, in what is supossed to be clandestine graves of guerrilla fighters killed during the Brazilian dictatorship (1964-85). Former Brazilian military personnel recently reported the site of some 60 graves of members of the Araguaya-s guerrilla killed by the Army in the seventies. Some of the anthropological team members participated in the search of the remains of the Guerilla leader Ernesto Che Guevara in 1997 in Bolivia. AFP PHOTO/VANDERLEI ALMEIDA
