URUGUAY-PROTEST-NUNCA MAS-NEVER AGAIN
Riot police and demonstrators clash 19 June, 2007 in downtown Montevideo. A group of extreme left-wing activists marched protesting against the official celebrations held earlier in the day by President Tabare Vasquez of the "Nunca Mas" (Never Again) day, in reference to the violence in the sixties and seventies, and the terrorism of State during the civic-military regime (1973-1985).
