URUGUAY-PROTEST-NUNCA MAS-NEVER AGAIN
A demonstrator brandishing a truncheon charges on riot police 19 June, 2007 in downtown Montevideo. A group of extreme left-wing activists marched Tuesday protesting against the official celebrations held earlier in the day by President Tabare Vasquez of the "Nunca Mas" (Never Again) day, in reference to the violence in the sixties and seventies, and the terrorism of State during the civic-military regime (1973-1985).
