CUBA-VILMA ESPIN-RAUL CASTRO-HOMAGE
Cuban acting President Raul Castro is comforted by friends during a homage to his late wife Vilma Espin held 19 June, 2007 at the Karl Marx Theater in Havana. Espin died June 18th 2007 at 77 after a long illness. Cuba held a day of mourning Tuesday for the guerrilla who became one of the most powerful women in the revolution that propelled her brother-in-law Fidel Castro to power.
