Five-month old Jade Benhur dela Cruz is bottlefed by her aunt, Lani Eliza Estefa in Manila, 20 June 2007 and has been exclusively fed with milk formula shortly after birth, since his mother is working. All companies offering infant formula in the Philippines are violating a law that bars them from competing with breastfeeding, World Health Organisation (WHO) officials charged as the government and the milk companies are battling it out in the Supreme Court over the legality of the regulation that restricts the marketing of infant formula.
