TO GO WITH AFP STORY IN FRENCH BY FABIENNE FAUR: "BAUDELAIRE ET SES FLEURS DU MAL, PROUST OU ROUSSEAU EN VENTE CHEZ SOTHEBY'S".
Picture taken 26 June 2007 of a copy of French poet Charles Baudelaire’s collected poems “Les Fleurs du Mal” published in 1857 and offered to French artist Eugène Delacroix bearing an authograph proving an unbound admiration. The book, the spotlight of the sale will go under the hammer at Sothebys on 27 June 2007 as part of of Philippe Leroy collection including some 100 items: books, manuscripts and rare documents. Those dated from the 19th and 20th centuries are expected to fetch in the 3 and 4 million Euros range.
