FRANCE-AIRPORT-TRAVEL-RAIL-FIRE
A picture taken 29 June 2007 shows the platform of a RER rapid transit train at the La Plaine-Stade-de-France station in the northern Paris suburb of Saint-Denis. The rail link between the French capital and its main Charles-de-Gaulle Roissy airport was cut early 29 June 2007 after a fire that engulfed two dozen campers in a Roma camp outside the city damaged two bridges, leaving some 30 to 40 passengers stranded at the Gare du Nord train station in Paris and another 150 at the La Plaine-Stade-de-France station.
