(FILES) - A picture taken 19 May 2006 in Bordeaux, shows former journalist Pierre Jeantet who was appointed 02 July 2007 to take the helm of France's Le Monde daily, ending weeks of uncertainty over the leadership of the country's newspaper of record. Jeantet, 60, the vice president of the newspaper group will replace Jean-Marie Colombani, who served as president for 13 years but was forced to step down after he failed to win a vote of confidence by journalists.
