Groupe Danone said it is in exclusive talks with Kraft Foods to sell its biscuits and cereals products business for 5.3 bln eur. In a statement, the group said Kraft's 5.3 bln eur offer is for operations excluding Danone's stakes in biscuits businesses in Latin America (Bagley) and India (Britannia). The two parties could reach a definitive agreement in the last quarter of 2007, Danone said.
