Soldiers and funeral personel carry the body of a soldier on arrival at military base in southern Zamboanga city 11 July 2007 inside a military base in Zamboanga City, following a fierce eight hour gunbattle with Islamic militants where 14 Philippine Marine soldiers were killed. The troops were searching for the kidnapped Italian priest Giancarlo Bossi in Tipo-Tipo town in nearby Basilan island when they were ambushed by a joingt force of Philippines' mmain Islamic rebel group, the Moro Islamic Liberation Front and the al-Qaeda linnked Abu Sayyaf, marine spokesman said.
