FRANCE-SPAIN-AIRLINE-AIRFRANCE-IBERIA-FILES
(FILES) -- A combo of two recent pictures shows Air France aircrafts (below) on the tarmac of France's Roissy-Charles-De-Gaulle airport, near Paris, 15 April 2003, and two Iberia airplanes at Madrid's Bajaras airport 14 September 2004. Air France said 16 July 2007 it was considering a tie-up with Spanish carrier Iberia among other options. Earlier in the day, the Spanish business daily elEconomista reported that the investment fund Apax and Air France, allied with Spanish investors, were preparing a bid for Iberia.
