Ali Eslami plays poker in the First Man-Machine Poker Championship at the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI) Conference 23 July 2007 in Vancouver, BC, Canada. Ali Eslami and Phil Laak are playing heads-up Limit Texas Hold'em against Polaris, the latest generation program developed by the University of Alberta Computer poker Research Group. The man-machine poker game is billed as one highlight at the annual global conference of the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence.
