US-BADWATER-ULTRAMARATHON
The Badwater basin has shrunk to only a few yards wide and a few inches deep after continued unusually dry weater, 23 July 2007 in Death Valley National Park in southeastern California. Badwater, at 282 feet (86 meters) below sea level, is the lowest point in the Western Hemisphere and is the starting point for the 135-mile (217 km) Kiehl's Badwater Ultramarathon which finishes ar the Mt.
