The suspect, an official of the Land Transportation Office here, was arrested by police as he tried to flee with the shotgun used in the shooting. International media watchdog organisations such as Reporters Without Borders and the International Press Institute have labelled the Philippines as the most dangerous place for news professionals next to Iraq.
