BELGIUM-ECUADOR-CHILD-JUSTICE-IMMIGRATION
Javier Jova, the father of Angelica Cajamarca uses a mobile phone at Zaventem airport, 30 July 2007 as he came to protest against the deportation of his eleven-years-old daughter Angelica Cajamarca and her mother Ana from Ecuador. They were supposed to leave by the end of the afternoom but a judgement of Brussels first instance court ruled that his wife and his daughter had to be freed. The affair, widely covered in the Belgian media, has thrown the spotlight on the internment of minors which can last for months and has been denounced here by local rights groups.
