AFGHANISTAN-SKOREA-KIDNAP
Afghan boys read the Quran at the Abdullah ebni-Abas madrassa in Ghazni province, 05 August 2007. The hardline Islamic Taliban has murdered two men in the group of South Korean church aid workers kidnapped in volatile southern Ghazni province 19 July. South Korea was hoping that a meeting between Afghan President Hamid Karzai and US President George Bush scheduled to take place at Camp David could shift apparantly deadlocked talks over the hostages.
