BULGARIA-LIBYA-AIDS-HEALTH-HAJUJ-FILES

(FILES) -- File picture taken 25 July 2007 in Sofia shows Bulgarian doctor Ashraf Ahmad Juma Hajuj during a news conference following his return from custody Libya. The Palestinian-born doctor who spent more than eight years in a Libyan prison over an HIV outbreak is planning to sue Moamer Kadhafi, the Dutch news agency ANP reported 05 August 2007. "Tomorrow I want to examine the options available to me with my lawyer," to to pursue a case against Kadhafi, Hajuj told a press conference in the central city of Woerden, where his family has been based since 2004. The medic, now a naturalized Bulgarian, and five Bulgarian nurses were condemned to death in Libya after being accused of deliberately innoculating more than 400 children with the AIDS virus, 56 of whom are now dead.
