NETHERLANDS-LIBYA-BULGARIA-AIDS
Bulgarian doctor Ashraf Ahmad Juma Hajuj speaks 05 August 2007 in Woerden, a central city of the Netherlands, with his parents (R and 2nd R) after his return from Bulgaria. The Palestinian-born doctor who spent more than eight years in a Libyan prison over an HIV outbreak is planning to sue Moamer Kadhafi, the Dutch news agency ANP reported 05 August 2007. "Tomorrow I want to examine the options available to me with my lawyer," to to pursue a case against Kadhafi, Hajuj told a press conference in Woerden, where his family has been based since 2004. The medic, now a naturalized Bulgarian, and five Bulgarian nurses were condemned to death in Libya after being accused of deliberately innoculating more than 400 children with the AIDS virus, 56 of whom are now dead.
