US-SPACE-SHUTTLE-ENDEAVOUR
This handout photo provided by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration shows the forward two thirds of the STS-118 external tank photographed by a camera positioned in Endeavour's umbilical well seconds after separation from the space shuttle 08 August 2007 in space. Engineers, managers and flight controllers have carefully studied this image and other frames from this series and other pictures showing the falling ET as photographed by a handheld digital still camera in the shuttle's crew cabin. The mission, transporting parts for the International Space Station and carrying educator astronaut Barbara Morgan, is the first flight for Endeavour since December 2002.
