Romanian canoeists (front-back) Josif Chirila, Andrei Cuculici, Silviu Simoncenco and Loredan Popa celebrate winning the C4 1000m final 11 August 2007 in the western German city of Duisburg. Romania won the event ahead of Germany (2nd) and Hungary (3rd). Duisburg is hosting this year's Canoe World Championships with 90 nations and 852 athletes competing from 08 to 12 August 2007.
