This picture taken 24 January 2007 in Cannes, shows CDs in a music stand, at the 41st MIDEM, the world's biggest and most influential music trade fair. When the first CDs rolled off the presses at the Philips factory near Hannover, Germany on August 17, 1982 nobody realized what a revolution in entertainment the so-called compact discs would bring about.
