This US Coast Guard handout image released 20 August, 2007 shows approximately 12 tons of cocaine with an estimated import value of $306 million USD sitting on the deck of the USS McClusky, before being turned over to the custody of federal law enforcement officials 06 August in Key West Florida. The cocaine seizure was the culmination of three months of counter narcotics operations by the Joint Interagency Task Force South (JIATF-S), in Key-West, an interagency task force that is responsible for the detection and monitoring of suspect air and maritime drug activity in the Caribbean Sea, Gulf of Mexico and the eastern Pacific.
