NICARAGUA-HURRICANE FELIX-AFTERMATH
A Miskito woman tries to retrieve some belongings from amid the rubble of her home, destroyed by Hurricane Felix, 06 Septembre 2007, in Krukira, 430 kilometers northeast from Managua. Nicaragua, Honduras and Mexico geared up for flooding from rain-swollen rivers Thursday in the wake of two devastating hurricanes which left more than 47 dead and scores missing this week. Bodies of indigenous Miskito Indians from Nicaragua were floating into Honduras's Gracias a Dios department after being carried by Carribbean currents, according to local reports.
