NICARAGUA-HURRICANE FELIX-AFTERMATH
Shipwrecked Miskito fishermen receive medical attention in an improvised hospital at the Puerto Cabezas' dock installations after having being rescued by the Hondurean Navy together with other 31 survivors 08 September 2007, in Puerto Cabezas, 540 km northeast from Managua. Some 35 Miskito fishermen were rescued by the Hondurean Navy on Wednesday after shipwrecking because of Hurricane Felix and transferred aboard Nicaraguan vessels on Friday. Thousands of residents of Nicaragua and Honduras sought aid Saturday in the wake of Hurricane Felix, while rescuers expressed fears that the death toll of at least 100 would surely rise. The bodies of dozens of Miskito Indians living in Nicaragua's coast were found floating in Honduran waters on Thursday. AFP PHOTO/Miguel ALVAREZ
