GUATEMALA-ELECTIONS-MENCHU
A collaborator of Guatemalan presidential candidate for the Encuentro por Guatemala Party Rigoberta Menchu works inside her house in Mixco, Guatemala 08 September 2007, on the eve of the general elections. Social-Democrat Alvaro Colom led a voter intention poll 07 September 2007, almost eight percentage points ahead of retired army General Otto Perez Molina. Other surveys earlier showed the two candidates in a virtual tie.
