BELGIUM-IRAN-HOSTAGE-RELEASE
Former Belgian hostage Stefan Boeve (L), 28, is hugged by his travel companion Carla Van den Eeckhout, 37, 16 September 2007 in Melsbroek after he was released late 13 September 2007 by Iranian bandits who held him for over a month. Boeve and Van den Eeckhout were seized in the notoriously dangerous Sistan-Baluchestan province in southeast Iran 12 August 2007. Van den Eeckhout was released two days later.
