Elsie Esau(41), alcoholic and mother of a child with FAS(Foetal Alcohol Syndrome) walks, 27 August 2007, outside her house in the streets of De Aar, South Africa. De AAr with its 30,000-odd residents carries the unenviable distinction of the world's highest reported incidence of the FAS(Foetal Alcohol Syndrome)condition.
