CZECH-FRANCE-CINEMA-FAUBOURG-36
WITH AFP STORY BY SOPHIE PONS Picture taken 21 September 2007 shows French director Christophe Barratier (R) on the set during the shooting of a French movie ''Faubourg 36'' in Dubec village, an eastern suburban district of Prague. Paved streets with gas lights on flaking walls conjuring up Paris in the 1930's have been constructed in fields on the outskirts of Prague for the latest film of French director Christophe Barratier, the man behind the hit film "The Chorus." The chief designer who has created a world for Barratier's ''Faubourg 36'' was inspired by the famed '30s photos of Robert Doisneau, Henri Cartier-Bresson and Brassai. The biggest star of the movie is Pierre Richard, who plays the head of an orchestra who becomes a loner after a failed love affair, in a film which echoes the turbulent political and social epoch of the Popular Front.
