Pop star Britney Spears temporarily lost custody of her two sons 01 october 2007 after a wrenching and highly publicized court battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline, judicial sources said. Federline "is to retain physical custody of the minor children 03 October 2007 at 12:00 pm until further order of the court," the court documents said.
