Lebanese women join hundreds of other in a candle-lit demonstration in the heart of Beirut, 03 October 2007, organised by the family of one of the victims of the car bombing that killed anti-Syrian MP Antoine Ghanem, 28-year-old Charles Shikhan. Today, more than 3,000 people marched through central Beirut toward the Place de L'Etoile, where parliament is located, wearing white shirts and bearing candles, to protest the wave of attacks against anti-Syrian figures in the country, an AFP correspondent witnessed.
