MARSHALLS-TAIWAN-PACIFIC-SUMMIT
Taiwan's President Chen Shui-bian (3rd L), flanked by Marshall Islands President Kessai Note (C-light blue shirt) and security officials and staff, arrives in Majuro in the Marshall Islands, 12 October 2007, on a China Airlines charter from Taipei to attend the start of the second Taiwan-Pacific Allies Summit. Taiwan is meeting with six states - Palau, the Marshall Islands, Kiribati, Tuvalu, the Solomon Islands and Nauru - which represent a quarter of the 24 countries which recognise Taipei rather than Beijing.
