The anti poverty fair by the non-government organization is part of the celebration to mark the global campaign to "Stand Up And Speak Out Against Poverty." The Philippines is among the 191 countries who signed the millenium declaration that is comitted to the millenium development goals to fight poverty, hunger, disease, enivronmental degradation and discrimination by the year 2015.
