The foreign ministers met today with Lebanon's feuding political leaders in a bid to break a long-running deadlock that is preventing the election of a president. Kouchner, D'Alema and Moratinos met with Berri, a leading member of the Hezbollah-led opposition, and with Western-backed Prime Minister Fuad Siniora in hopes of a breakthrough just days before parliament is to convene for a vote on the presidency.
