NETHERLANDS-ARMANDO-MUSEUM-FIRE
Firemen extinguish a big fire in the Armando Museum in Amersfoort, the Netherlands, 22 October 2007. The museum, housed in a church, was fully destroyed by the fire. The running exhibition with works of Armando, Albrecht Durer, Jacob van Ruisdael and others were also destroyed. The cause of the blaze that broke out in the 19th century Elleboogskerk on the Langegracht is still unknown.
