CHAD-FRANCE-CRIME-CHILDREN
Hundreds of Chadian women protest against children trafficing 31 October 2007 in Abeche, in the east of Chad. Some of the women hurled stones at foreign journalists in the eastern town of Abeche and shouted anti-French slogans. The detention of the nine French and seven Spanish involved in the effort to take the children out of Chad has turned into an international controversy over who knew about the actions of the French charity Zoe's Ark. Sixteen Europeans charged over the alleged abduction of 103 children faced abuse from angry protesters in eastern Chad. AFP PHOTO/SONIA ROLLEY
